Historical Wisłouście fortress with brick, 6 meters tall walls, proximity of river of Vistula going out into the Baltic sea. All these factors upraise very specific challenges in terms of respecting the nearest neighborhood. The hostel due to its locations is designed for very different kind of users who want to rest in a green place, far from the rush of the city.

The building is designed as reference to the fortress with brick walls. Modern white-striped galleries break through the massive block of the building, creating interesting contrast between different materials.

The building is functionally divided into 3 zones: restaurant, hostel, and rental office with water facilities.
