ABOUT
I have successfully completed my Master's and Bachelor's degree in Architecture at Gdańsk University of Technology.
I was given the opportunity to study abroad upon completion of my studies under the international student exchange programme, LLP Erasmus, where I spent six months at Plymouth University, School of Architecture and Design.
I have got my experience in the architecture office 'MIDI Architekci' specialising in passive and low-energy houses - which has broadened my knowledge in that area.
I have also actively participated in numerous international workshops, which gave me a good insight and experience on living and studying abroad as well as a more rounded approach to innovative design that other countries support. Additionally it made me reflect back on my own work and design principles by looking at things from a different perspective. It helped to develop my critical thinking on architecture and design.
I have been in the architectural environment on a range of different scales, from single family homes to urban regeneration masterplans. Due to this wide range of involvement in different project typologies I have developed particular interests in spaces that promote a healthy way of living as well as investigating issues such as sustainability, identity of place and the city as a creative/inspiring urbanscape.
